Angel Ring Chocolate Roll started in Japan. Soon later, the popularity has allowed them to sell in Taiwan and other regions. It looks like croissant or Danish pastry with plenty of chocolate beans filled in a bread which makes it tastes of chocolate. Angel Ring Chocolate Roll is great to eat it with a cup of coffee or tea.
Handmade Food Recipe
- Mix flour, water, sugar, baking soda and butter in a bowl.
- Knead and press the dough ball into a flat pattern.
- Put some butter on the dough sheet, wrap it up and then fold several times.
- Leave the dough ball in the fridge for 8 hours. Later, take the dough ball out and put it on the table. Make it into a flat sheet, spread chocolate beans on the skin and roll up into long bread rolls.
- Cut (30cm) and put in the cake ring with an oven that is at 160~180 degrees for 20-25 minutes.

ANKO's team needed to modify the machine in order to accommodate the machine. As a result, a 4-meter long Angel Ring pastry production line was designed and built with energy-saving, lower labor cost, space-saving advantages.
Food Equipment Introduction
- First off, all ingredients are mixed in a spiral mixer to make dough balls. And then use a dough roller machine to make dough skin that would have the same texture as handmade.
- Once ready, put the pressed dough skin on a conveyor to start the process of Angel Ring Chocolate roll.
- The dough sheet is rolled flat and flour on the dough sheet is brushed evenly before water spraying to enhance moisture of the dough.
- Chocolate and almond adding is conducted after spraying water and cutting, and then dividing, rolling and cutting to complete the whole operation.
